CENTRAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN

• FULL-TIME CENTRAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN:
  Full-time Lead Central Service Technician position available. Individual will be responsible for directing and overseeing the department policies and procedures, staff and staff scheduling. Individual selected will be a seasoned, certified Central Service Technician with experience working with medical supplies and sterilizing techniques. Previous management experience preferred. Good listening, reading and writing skills, organizational skills and teamwork required.

EMERGENCY SERVICES

• MID-LEVEL PRACTITIONER (NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT):
  Per diem mid-level practitioner (nurse practitioner or physician assistant) positions available in Emergency Services. Previous emergency department experience and ACLS certification required.

• FULL-TIME REGISTRED NURSE:
  Full-time Registered Nurse position available in the ER. 72 hours biweekly. 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.; ER experience and ACLS certification required.
  

INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

• REGISTERED NURSE:
  Full and part-time positions available in ICU. Previous ICU experience required.  (Experience may be obtained following completion of the ICU course and appropriate on the job training with a skilled ICU Charge RN.) Demonstrated clinical and leadership competency. Current openings include:

  • One part-time position available on evenings, 48 hours biweekly.
  • Two full-time positions available on nights, 64 hours biweekly. ACLS certification required.

INTERNAL MEDICINE

• MID-LEVEL PRACTITIONER (NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT):
  Full or Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed for Belfast Internal Medicine practice. Prior experience preferred working with in an outpatient practice with adult patients. This collaborative practice with Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician will provide health care to residents in the community.

MEDICAL RECORDS

• CERTIFIED MEDICAL RECORDS CODER:
  Full-time Certified Medical Records Coder position available. Individual selected will maintain good computer generated coding and abstracting following approved coding guidelines, be a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), with one year hospital setting experience in ICD-9 and CPT coding required. 40 hours, Monday through Friday.

MEDICAL/SURGICAL UNIT

• FULL TIME UNIT SECRETARY:
  Full-time Unit Secretary position available on the Medical/Surgical Unit – night shift. 10:30 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. Excellent communication, computer, organizational and clerical skills required.

REHABILITATION SERVICES

• FULL TIME PHYSICAL THERAPIST:
  Full-time Physical Therapist position available. Individual will work primarily in outpatient setting. Current State of Maine licensure and CPR certification required. New graduates welcome.
  

WOMEN & INFANTS HEALTHCARE UNIT

• PER DIEM REGISTERED NURSE:
  Per diem Registered Nurse positions available for both day and night shift. 12 hour shifts. Experience in Labor & Delivery, Nursery, Post-Partem, OB/GYN required.
