Hospice is support...being there during the final stages of illness and life, in dying and through bereavement. Hospice assists patients, families and friends to do what is meaningful and necessary before saying good-bye to that which is familiar. Skilled and compassionate care is given to help maintain patient and family comfort and dignity.
Waldo County Home Healthcare Services offers state-licensed, Medicare certified hospice services. In cooperation with Hospice Volunteers of Waldo County and Waldo County General Hospital, we provide support and care for persons with advanced illnesses and their families so that they might live as fully and as comfortably as possible.
Caring for a loved one in the final stages of life can be tremendously rewarding; it can also be a time of enormous emotional, physical and financial stress. Fortunately, care and comfort are available in Waldo County for terminally ill patients and their families.

Waldo County Home Healthcare & Hospice service areas include Waldo County and part of Knox County.
