Brittany Woods, RN
Brittany saw a need for an educational tool for our patients who have trouble reading, she researched and created a very effective tool, Brittany is a prime example of what makes WCGH the BEST.

Drinkwater
Sue Drinkwater, RN
Sue Drinkwater, RN, received her Oncology Nursing certification some 12 years ago and has maintained that status ever since. She has been a registered nurse at the hospital since 1976 working in many difference patient areas but she enjoys most the Oncology and Infusion Therapy department, where she has worked since 1991. “It is a very rewarding area because we focus on helping patients and their families get through treatments they have chosen to undertake, supporting them when they decide to stop treatments, celebrating successes and keeping in contact with survivors,” she says. Rob Fowler, RN
Infection Control and Prevention Nurse Rob Fowler, RN, BSN, of  Waldo County General Hospital receives a Public Health Epidemiology Recognition Award. Thanks to the dedication of Fowler and the Infection Control Committee Waldo County General Hospital exceeds the standard in infection control policies. “I am honored to be recognized by my colleagues. The Infection Control Practitioners throughout the state are a great group to work with.  We all lean on one another for support when the need arises,” says Fowler adding, “I am excited about what I do.  I am able to work with many healthcare professionals within the hospital and this position has allowed me to grow in my profession.
