Our Oncology Department offers an extensive array of services provided by skilled chemotherapy-certified registered nurses, secretaries and social workers, who provide compassionate support and continuous patient education to assist patients being treated for serious, complex diseases.

Oncology Clinic
Provides care for patients diagnosed with cancer (oncology). Services provided include:
• Chemotherapy
• Chemotherapy infusions by certified chemotherapy registered nurses
• Central line maintenance
• Blood transfusions and intravenous therapy
• Social workers
• Patient education
Please check-in at Central Registration before coming to the oncology department. Remember, you need to show your insurance card at every visit.
The Cancer Resource Center
The Cancer Resource Center was created to provide you with a source of information, interaction through support groups, access to transportation, and other resources to help you improve the quality of your physical, emotional and spiritual lives.
Offers an extensive array of services to patients and their families to assist them in obtaining information about cancer and cancer treatment as well as available resources. The center has informational displays, a computer with user friendly access to health & cancer related web sites and a large selection of brochures, books and videos available in our free lending library.
Road to Recovery
Volunteer drivers are available to transport cancer patients to doctor’s appointments, radiation treatments or oncology visits in Belfast, Bangor, Waterville or Portland |
